The coca cola route is one of the shortest routes to the Southern Glaciers and the Western Breach. However the most difficult and demanding route on Kilimanjaro but also the most spectacular..
- On the Western Breach – the area is unstable and rock may start falling at any time.
- Overnight at Arrow Glacier camp (4 850m) high has more risk of getting altitude sickness.
Most of our coca cola route hikes are currently re-routed, to join with the Machame route from day 2 on the mountain.
